Timeline update

George will now be checking into the hospital to begin his conditioning on Friday June 21st.  Everything is ok but they needed to add on some treatments to his original plan of conditioning. So tomorrow will be the last day for him to receive his shots of Neupegen. This means he will no longer have the protection from viruses or bacteria. So please just be praying for health for him leading up to the 21st when he checks in to start his journey.

    Amy and family,
    I have loved reading all about your sweet George. He is surrounded by the most amazing family and friends and he is loved all the way up here in NC. I am sending you strong hugs and please know that we Burdette girls will be praying hard for his strength through this difficult journey. You are so loved. Strong hugs to you too.

I always wanted twins. Twins run in my moms family so I somewhat imagined it might actually happen. Home is where the heart is

Today we are officially home. We had been staying at my sisters house while our house was getting some improvements for George. He really really loves his home. He got so excited to walk in the door. He walked all through the house just checking to see if everything was all still there. It is going to take a full week of hard labor to whip this place back into shape. It’s clear to me now who the tidy one is in the family is. When mamma is gone, so are all rules and cleanliness. George seems a little sick today. His eyes are really red underneath and he has a rash around his mouth and neck. No fevers so just hoping this is just yet another side effect from all his body is going through right now. Just because we are home I ask that you continue praying for him. His battle is far from over. It actually seems to be a little tougher now that we have everyday elements to deal with.
