Restaurant is open

Today at George’s appointment we were given the great news that he didn’t need a transfusion today. His hemoglobin went up to 13.5 since Monday. Praise the Lord! Also, his blood pressure is up so he will have to increase his blood pressure medicine but hopefully this will all work itself out when he comes off of his steroids in a few months. He needs some prayers about his hemolytic anemia. They do not think that the steroids are fixing the problem so on Friday they will be starting him on another medicine to see if this will correct the issue. If that doesn’t work then he will have to be put on a drug that will wipe out his entire immune system for a few months. That would be terrible. We do not want that. So let’s pray that Friday’s blood results come back at with a strong hemoglobin count so we can start putting this issue to bed. God can move mountains. Please heal our boy. His bone marrow is working wonderfully, too good actually. This is why his antibodies are attacking it. They caught on too quickly that it was Kate’s blood and wanted it out. It seems so strange that his body is excelling at what it needs to excel at but still there are problems. So we once again pray for God to take control of this and we patiently wait on whatever His plan is for George. At the beginning of the week we received a present from my Uncle Billy and Aunt Kristi. A deluxe air frier!!! When they saw that George wanted only Chick Fil a nuggets to eat they sent us this air frier so that we could make our own at home. My Aunt Marjean and Uncle Danny then brought us 9lbs of chick fil a frozen nuggets. After only 5 min in this air frier we have perfect and safe (and slightly healthier) nuggets. Amazing. And guess who approves? George is in heaven. We all are. What a great appliance to own. We can’t wait to see all that it can do. Our hearts and tummies are full. They say the way to a mans heart is through his stomach. Well the way to George’s heart is with nuggets. Happy happy boy.   Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always 1 Corinthians 16:11
